Eliot is seeking energetic, positive, service-oriented individuals to work in a variety of group home settings with children, ages 0 - 12 years old, who are in the care of the Department of Children and Families. This position provides a great opportunity to positively impact and influence the life of a child by being a supportive and nurturing caregiving adult. Each of Eliot’s Latency Homes offers a positive, healthy living situation in which young children who may have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect can thrive and grow. The role is multifaceted and includes teaching, limit setting, advocating, coordinating treatment, and being a positive adult role model. Our Social Services Division includes short-term community-based assessment programs and group homes for children (birth to 12 years old) and adolescents (13 to 21 years old). The programs are contracted with the Department of Children and Families and provide a safe, structured, and respectful environment for children and youth to thrive, change and grow by focusing on treatment, skill-building, and permanency.
